Shipping policy


We only ship plants within the States in the United States of America, expect for Hawaii and Alaska. 

We ship most weeks using USPS Priority on Mondays and Tuesdays to try and avoid weekend shipping delays. Most orders are delivered in 1-5 business days after USPS has possession. We do not ship on federal holidays due to USPS closures. No shipping the week of Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Plants are shipped un-potted with their roots wrapped in sphagnum moss unless otherwise indicated:

  • XXS size: Between 0.5 and 1 inch wide. 
  • XS size: 1 to 2 inches wide.
  • Small size: 2 to 4 inches wide. 
  • Medium size: 4 to 6 inches wide. 
  • Large size: 6 to 9 inches wide. 
  • XL size: 9+ inches wide. 

We generally ship within 5 business days after an order is placed. Tracking may take a few hours to one day to update. The first business day is considered the following day the tracking number is sent. During times of the year with higher order volume, it may take slightly longer. We attempt to avoid situations where packages may sit in prolonged storage over a weekend and normally only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 48 hours if the item is defective or damaged so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If the package was damaged during shipping, please take photos of how the box arrived. To be eligible for a refund due to damaged packaging, you must send an email to PitcherPerfectPlants.com@gmail.com that includes clear photos of the package and the item(s) you wish to receive a refund for and a description as to why you are requesting a refund. It may take up to 30 days for refunds to process. Refunds are not guaranteed.

We cannot be held responsible for shipment delays made by the carrier; however, our live arrival guarantee applies to all shipments except those where the customer elects to waive the live arrival guarantee. 

All shipments are regarded as delivered when indicated as delivered by the carrier's tracking system. Delivery issues beyond this will need to be brought as a claim with the carrier or local authorities. We offer signature confirmation as an option for an additional layer of security.

Damaged Packaging - If a product arrives damaged with evidence that the packaging was damaged, we require the customer to contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photos of the packaging before opening so the respective carrier can inspect the parcel for insurance claim purposes. Failure to do this may result in a waiver of our guarantees. To be eligible for a refund due to damaged packaging, you must send an email to PitcherPerfectPlants.com@gmail.com that includes clear photos of the package's damage with a description. It may take up to 30 days for any refunds to process. Refunds are not guaranteed.

Description of Mail Service Options - USPS Priority Mail is generally delivered in 1-5 business days depending on the customer location. Transit times may vary due to regional mail volumes and there may be increased transit time during certain times of the year. 

Pitcher Perfect Plants reserves the right to upgrade shipping service at our discretion. We may reach out to the customer concerning alternate shipping options if additional funds are required for a recommended shipping service.
